JOIN THE BAND

Merri-bek City Band welcomes people of all ages and musical abilities.
The privileges of membership include the opportunity to play in one of our core ensembles, the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and access to our facilities and equipment. It is free to join and rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 16-22 Cross Street, Brunswick East. The Krysalis Project, a band for learner musicians of all abilities, rehearses from 6.15 to 7.30pm (excluding Victorian school holidays). The band comprises a mix of adults and children. The Phoenix Project, MCB’s senior ensemble, rehearses from 7.30 to 9.30pm. The band comprises a mix of professional and amateur musicians of all ages, from diverse backgrounds.
